Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cracker Barrel cheese (extra sharp)
    7 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    2 c. flour (plain)
Preparation
    Let butter set at room temperature to become soft.
    Grate cheese fine, then also set out at room temperature to become softer.
    To cheese add salt, red pepper, then butter.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Add flour; mix with fork.
    This will look like meal at first.
    Shape into dough.
    Roll out 1/4-inch thick on waxed paper. Cut in 1/2-inch strips.
    Put on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake approximately 15 minutes in 325\u00b0 oven.
