Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
3 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
7/8 c. sour milk or buttermilk
3 egg whites, whipped

Preparation

Beat sugar and butter.
Add egg yolks.
Sift dry ingredients twice and add in 3 parts to first mixture.
Beat in milk.
Stir in egg whites.
Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
