Buttermilk Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. plain cornmeal
    1 c. white flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Stir together cornmeal, flour, sugar and salt.
    Set aside.
    Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
    Add beaten egg and melted margarine.
    Stir until mixed and then add to dry ingredients and mix well. Turn into greased 9 x 9-inch pan or into greased muffin pan.
    Bake 20 minutes or until golden and done.
