Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Mazola oil
2 c. sugar
2 1/4 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
1 c. pecans

Preparation

Cream the first 4 ingredients; set aside.
Sift the next 4 ingredients.
Mix dry mixture with cream mixture.
Add apples and pecans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
After 1 hour, turn oven off. Let cake remain 5 minutes longer.
Remove from oven; let cake cool in pan.
