Mother'S Baked Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 or 6 apples
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
cinnamon
dash of salt
dabs of butter
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cut and core apples; cut apples into 4 sections or more if large.
Do not peel.
Mix sugars and cornstarch together.
Place apples in Pyrex dish; cover with sugar mixture.
Sprinkle with cinnamon, salt and butter.
Pour over all water with vanilla. Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
