Chicken In Cream With Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 c. chicken, cut in serving size
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. sliced onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/4 tsp. curry powder
    1/3 c. vermouth
    3 c. cream (hot)
    3 to 4 Tbsp. heavy cream
    3 to 4 drops lemon juice
Preparation
    Cook chicken in butter until stiff, not brown.
    Place in casserole.
    Cook onion in butter, covered, until soft, about 5 minutes.
    Add to chicken.
    Return to pot, cook slowly for 10 minutes.
    Season with salt, pepper and curry.
    Add vermouth and boil until liquid is almost evaporated.
    Pour on hot cream.
    Bring to simmer.
    Cook 30 to 35 minutes.
    Remove chicken.
    Remove from heat.
