Currant And Raspberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. currants
    1 qt. red raspberries
    1/2 c. water
    6 c. sugar
Preparation
    Wash currants; remove from stems.
    Add raspberries, water and sugar.
    Let stand for one hour.
    Boil gently for 45 minutes.
    Stir frequently.
    Pour into sterilized jars.
