Coffee Liqueur - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. instant coffee
    3 c. vodka
    1/2 vanilla bean, split, or 2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine 2 sugars and 2 cups water.
    Bring to boil and cook 5 minutes.
    Stir in coffee.
    Cool.
    Pour in tall jug or jar.
    Add vodka and vanilla; mix thoroughly.
    Cover and let stand at least 2 weeks.
    Remove vanilla bean.
