Blueberry Pudding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. blueberries
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Put blueberries in the bottom of an 8 x 8-inch pan.
    In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, shortening, 3/4 cup sugar and milk together.
    Pour over the berries.
    Mix together the remaining 1 cup sugar and the cornstarch and sprinkle evenly over the batter.
    Pour boiling water over the batter.
    Do not mix.
    Bake for 45 minutes.
    Serve hot or at room temperature with ice cream or whipped topping.
