Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2 1/2 c. milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 baked 9-inch pie shell
    3 egg whites
    6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Add chocolate to milk; heat in double boiler.
    When chocolate is melted, beat with rotary eggbeater to blend.
    Combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour and salt.
    Add gradually to chocolate mixture and cook and stir until thickened.
    Then cook 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Pour a small amount of chocolate mixture into egg yolks, stirring vigorously.
    Return to double boiler and cook and stir 2 minutes longer.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Cover and cool. Turn cold chocolate filling in shell.
