Fried Salmon Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) can pink salmon, deboned
    1 egg
    1 stalk celery, cut into 1/4-inch bits
    1 tsp. chopped onion
    10 crackers, crushed
    cooking oil
Preparation
    Empty salmon into mixing bowl after pouring off approximately 3/4 of fluid (debone salmon as much as possible).
    Add egg, celery, onion and crushed crackers.
    Mix thoroughly and make into 4 patties.
    Heat approximately 1/4-inch cooking oil in medium size frying pan.
    Cook patties until brown on one side (about 2 minutes) and turn over, browning patties on either side.
    Place patties on paper towels to drain oil.
    Serve hot.
