Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine
2 oz. red food coloring
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 to 2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cocoa
2 1/2 c. plain or cake flour, sifted
1 1/2 tsp. soda
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream sugar and margarine.
Add eggs, beating until fluffy. Mix a paste of cocoa and vinegar; add to margarine mixture.
Sift salt, soda and flour together; add to mixture.
Add buttermilk, vanilla and coloring.
Mix and pour into greased or paper-lined pans.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
