Cake Of Pleasure - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 (13 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding mix
    1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip, cold
    chopped pecans
Preparation
    Place sugar and pineapple in a pan; simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool until cake is baked as directed in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Remove cake from oven.
    Punch holes all over cake. Spread pineapple over cake and let soak in.
    Mix pudding as directed.
    Spread over cake.
    Put coconut all over top of cake, then cover with Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle with pecans.
    Refrigerate. It is better the second day.
