Angel Food - cooking recipe
Ingredients

14 egg whites or 2 c.
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. cake flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
vanilla
Preparation

Sift 1 cup of the sugar 2 or 3 times.
Then sift flour with the other 1/2 cup sugar 3 or 4 times.
Beat egg whites, cream of tartar, vanilla and salt until whites stand in peaks.
Beat in the 1 cup of sugar.
Fold in the flour and sugar mixture until well blended.
Bake in tube pan or 12-inch square cake pan at 350\u00b0 until top is brown and cake springs back when touched.
Make sure pan is washed well and no grease particles remain from previous use.
