Buttermilk Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. self-rising corn meal mix
    3 eggs, lightly beaten
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1/3 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Stir together sugar and corn meal in mixing bowl.
    Add eggs, butter, buttermilk and vanilla; blend well.
    Pour filling into pastry shell.
    Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted 1-inch from center comes out clean.
    Do not overbake.
    Pie will continue to set as it cools.
