Eight Egg Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. butter
    8 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour, sifted (Wondra)
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter in a large mixer bowl for 5 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating for 2 minutes after each addition.
    Add flour gradually; beat for 5 minutes longer.
    Stir in lemon extract and vanilla.
    Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until cake tests done.
