Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. shortening or lard
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Combine lard, sugar, salt and milk in saucepan; warm to melt lard.
    Cool to lukewarm and beat in egg.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water
    and add to milk mixture.
    Add flour a cup at a time, beating
    after each addition.
    Do all this in a covered casserole dish.
    Grease top of dough ball and cover.\tStore in refrigerator overnight.\tMake into clover leaf rolls by making 1-inch
    balls and putting 3 in each greased muffin tin.
    Cover and let rise about an hour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 15 minutes or until done. Makes 1 1/2 to 2 dozen rolls.
