Fruited Sweet Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter, oleo or oil
    1 1/2 lb. lean pork, sliced in thin strips (I prefer pork tenderloin)
    1 (13 1/2 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
    1/2 c. Russian dressing
    3/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 medium size green pepper, sliced thin
    2 onions, sliced thin
    hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Melt butter and saute meat until brown.
    Drain pineapple, reserve juice.
    Combine juice, Russian dressing, water, cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar and salt.
    Pour over meat and stir until thick.
    Cover and simmer about 30 minutes, until meat is tender.
    Add green peppers, onions and pineapple.
    Cook about 5 minutes and serve over hot cooked rice.
