Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice, cooked
    2 slices bacon, cut up
    2 large onions, sliced
    2 green peppers, chopped
    3/4 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained
    3 c. canned tomatoes
    1 to 3 tsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic
Preparation
    Fry bacon.
    Add onions, green peppers and beef.
    Brown for about 5 minutes.
    Add tomatoes, rice, 1 teaspoon chili powder, garlic, salt and pepper.
    Mix well and simmer, covered.
    Toward end of cooking, add additional chili powder.
    Add water if too dry; should be moist, not soupy.
