Swedish Fruit-Soup Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (11 oz.) pkg. mixed dried fruits
1/2 c. golden seedless raisins
3 to 4-inch stick cinnamon
4 c. water
1 orange, unpared and cut into 1/4-inch slices
2 1/4 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
1/2 c. currant jelly
1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine mixed fruits, raisins, cinnamon and water. Bring to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until fruits are tender, about 30 minutes. Add remaining ingredients.
Bring to boiling. Cover and cook over low heat 15 minutes longer, stirring occasionally. Serve warm or chilled.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
