Elizabeth'S Pie(2 Pies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. raisins (white)
    1 c. nuts (pecans)
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/4 lb. butter
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter, adding beaten egg yolks. Add vinegar, vanilla, nuts and raisins. Add beaten egg whites. (Do not beat egg whites until stiff.) Pour into uncooked pie crust. Bake in 300\u00b0 oven until egg whites rise, then turn oven to 250\u00b0. Cook until brown or about an hour.
