Mexican Casserole(International Cuisine) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
3 (8 oz. each) cans tomato sauce
2/3 c. water
2 (16 oz.) cans chili con carne with beans
7 corn tortillas
2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation

In skillet, brown meat and pour off fat.
Add tomato sauce, chili and water and bring to a boil.
In pan or casserole dish, spoon in enough chili mixture to cover bottom of pan.
Cover mixture with 3 overlapping tortillas.
Cover tortillas with half remaining chili; sprinkle with 1 cup cheese.
Cover cheese with 3 more tortillas and cover with remaining chili mixture.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
Cut remaining tortilla into wedges. Remove from oven and add tortilla wedges.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Olive halves may be added if desired.
Bake 10 minutes more.
