100-Year-Old Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat sugar and shortening; add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
