"Chill Stopping" Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or chicken
    2 cans chili beans or kidney
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 bag frozen chopped onions
    tomato sauce
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    powdered chili mix or jar chili sauce
    garlic powder
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    In large skillet, fry onions and meat; drain.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer for approximately 45 minutes on low heat.
