Furr'S Jalapeno Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. plus 3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 2/3 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. plus 3 Tbsp. white cornmeal
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. pimiento
    2 c. minus 1 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1 1/4 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 1/4 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1 Tbsp. chopped jalapenos
    1/2 c. corn, well drained
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt, baking powder, soda and cornmeal.
    Add egg, oil and buttermilk.
    Blend in well the remaining ingredients. Pour into miniature loaf pans.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until done in center.
