Grilled Sweet-Sour Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    3/4 c. onion, diced
    1 green pepper, cut in thin strips
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. canned beef broth
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. mustard
    pickles, sliced
    3/4 c. pineapple chunks
Preparation
    Heat oil in saucepan.
    Saute onion and green pepper 3 minutes. Mix together cornstarch, sugar, vinegar, broth and salt. Add to the saucepan, stirring steadily to the boiling point.
    Add the pickles and pineapple. Cook over low heat 3 minutes.
    Place ribs on heavy aluminum foil tray on grill over low coals. Cook slowly with grill hood closed, turning and basting ribs with sauce frequently.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
