Decadent Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. softened butter
    4 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. semi-sweet mini morsels, divided
    2 (4 oz.) bars sweet chocolate, melted and cooled
    1/3 c. chocolate syrup
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 oz. white chocolate, chopped
    2 Tbsp. + 2 tsp. shortening, divided
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Dissolve soda in milk; add to creamed mixture alternately with flour, beginning and ending with flour.
    Add 1 cup mini morsels, melted chocolate, chocolate syrup and vanilla, stirring just until blended.
    (Do not overbeat).
