Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. plain flour, sifted
1/4 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks
2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. margarine
2 lemons, juice and lightly grated rind
3 egg whites, stiffly whipped
6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour and salt thoroughly.
Add milk slowly. Cook in top
of double boiler over hot water until thick.
Put in lemon juice
and\trind.
Cook
a\tfew
minutes more and add margarine. Cool.
Place
in
deep
dish baked pie shell. Whip egg whites
by hand until stiff.
Beat in sugar slowly.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
