Oatmeal Sheet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. quick oats
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. plain flour
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    2 c. hot water
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1 c. cooking oil
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Put oats in 2 cup hot water; let set in water until other ingredients are mixed.
    Fold oats in last.
    Bake in slow oven at about 325\u00b0 until done.
    Bake in wide loaf pan.
    Let cool.
    Spread topping on and broil to desired crispness.
