Quick Dish Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 strips bacon
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, minced
    1 green pepper, minced
    1/2 c. elbow macaroni
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Dice the bacon; cook in a large skillet until crisp.
    Crumble in ground beef and brown well; drain off excess fat.
    Add remaining ingredients, slightly breaking up tomatoes and dampening macaroni.
    Cover and simmer gently for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Serves 4 to 6.
