Grossmommy'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. hot water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. dry yeast
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. shortening
    6 c. flour
    1/4 c. warm water
Preparation
    Melt
    yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and 1 teaspoon sugar. Combine 2 cups flour with other dry ingredients.
    Add eggs and yeast mixture.
    Knead.
    Let rise until double;
    punch down and let rise
    again.
    Make
    rolls.
    Bake on greased baking sheets for 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
