Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 medium green peppers
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. oil
1 medium onion
1/4 tsp. ginger
2 to 3 tsp. sugar
instant rice
Preparation

Cut meat into strips.
Add meat to oil and brown for 5 minutes.
Stir in water, onion, garlic salt and ginger.
Cover and simmer 12 to 15 minutes.
Add green pepper strips last 5 minutes. While meat simmers, cook rice.
Blend cornstarch, sugar and soy sauce.
Stir into meat mixture until thickened; heat through.
