Sweet And Sour Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. spareribs
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 piece ginger, minced
    1/2 clove garlic, minced
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
    1/4 c. shoyu
    1/3 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Fry spareribs in oil until brown.
    Add ginger and garlic.
    Mix sugar, salt, shoyu, vinegar and water; pour over spareribs.
    Cook for at least 1 hour on low heat or until spareribs are soft. Thicken gravy with flour or cornstarch.
    If gravy begins to lessen, add more water as you are cooking so not to burn the spareribs.
    Serves 4.
