Tapioca Fruit Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. crushed pineapple (enough juice and water to make 5 c.)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. tapioca
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix everything together.
    Let stand 5 minutes, then bring to a boil and boil for a minute.
    Take off stove and stir occasionally for 20 minutes.
    Chill in refrigerator.
    Top with maraschino cherries.
