Corn Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. corn, cut off cob
2 small onions, minced
3 to 4 c. cubed raw potatoes
1 slice salt pork, diced
2 c. boiling water
3 to 4 c. scalded milk
2 Tbsp. butter
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Fry salt pork until well done. Add onions and cook until transparent, about 4 to 5 minutes. Add potatoes and water. Continue cooking until potatoes are soft. Add corn and scalded milk.
Heat. This last step is important.
Just heat but do not boil. Add butter and seasonings. Serve.
