Flank Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. flank steak
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. red or white wine
Preparation

Combine soy sauce and wine in a shallow dish.
Marinate steak for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, turning occasionally.
For medium-rare, broil steak 5 minutes on each side, basting once with marinade. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing in thin slices.
Cut across the grain.
Always salt steak after it is cooked to avoid toughening.
Makes 3 to 4 servings.
