Ginger Ale Mint Cooler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. chopped fresh mint leaves
    1/2 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice
    1 (33.8 oz.) bottle ginger ale, chilled
Preparation
    Combine water, sugar and mint in small saucepan.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves.
    Remove from heat and strain mint; discard leaves and chill.
    To serve, combine chilled mint mixture, lemon juice and ginger ale.
    Stir well. Pour over crushed ice or regular ice cubes.
    Makes 6 servings.
