Wine Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. wine
    1/2 (6 oz.) bottle liquid fruit pectin
    1 bar melted paraffin
Preparation
    Measure sugar and wine into top of double boiler and mix well. Place over rapid boiling water and stir until sugar is completely dissolved, about 3 to 4 minutes.
    Remove from heat and all at once stir in fruit pectin.
    Mix well; skim off foam if necessary.
    Pour quickly into hot, scalded jars; fill within 1/8-inch from top. Cover at once with hot paraffin.
    Makes 4 cups.
