Dropped Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
4 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. low-fat buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. lemon flavor
Preparation

Cream butter and Crisco; add sugar.
Beat well with electric mixer at medium speed.
Add eggs; beat well.
Combine flour, baking powder, soda and nutmeg.
Add to creamed mixture, alternately with buttermilk.
Stir in vanilla and lemon flavor. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 6 dozen.
