Strawberry Sorbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. fresh ripe strawberries
    3/4 c. super-fine sugar (granulated)
    2 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 1/2 Tbsp. orange flavored liqueur
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    watermelon, cut into 1-inch pieces (if desired)
    1 c. water
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Wash and hull strawberries.
    Place berries, water, 1/2 cup of the sugar, the lemon juice and liqueur in a 5 cup blender container.
    Blend until smooth, about 2 minutes.
    Pour strawberry mixture through a strainer into an 11 x 7-inch baking pan.
    Freeze until firm 3 to 4 hours.
