Pierogi Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 to 12 potatoes, cooked and mashed
    1 lb. lasagna noodles
    3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
    2 medium onions, diced
Preparation
    Cook and mash potatoes.
    Cook lasagne noodles according to package.
    Saute onions in butter until brown.
    Add cheese to mashed potatoes, along with 1/2 of onions and butter.
