Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 c. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. cold water

Preparation

Beat together shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well, then add cocoa, salt, soda, flour and cold water.
Fills a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
