Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    5 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    5 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 tsp. grated lemon rind
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix sugar, salt, cornstarch and water.
    Cook in double boiler until slightly thickens.
    Put some in beaten egg yolks and then add back to mixture and cook until thickened enough for pie.
    Add butter, lemon juice and rind.
    Cool and pour into precooked pie shell.
    Add meringue and brown.
