Country-Style Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. uncooked rolled oats
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~ F)
    uncooked oatmeal for top
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 to 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    4 to 4 1/2 c. bread flour or all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Add oats and salt to boiling water in saucepan.
    Stir in sugar and butter.
    Remove from heat.
    Set aside until mixture cools between 105\u00b0 to 115\u00b0.
    In large mixing bowl, soften yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
    Add cooled oat mixture.
    Gradually stir in flour to make a stiff dough.
