Frisch'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 qt. strawberries
1 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
3 Tbsp. cornstarch (level)
1/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. strawberry jello
2 Tbsp. butter
1 baked pie shell

Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Stir.
Pour in boiling water gradually.
Let come to a boil.
Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Then remove from heat and add butter and jello, stir and let cool.
Fold in strawberries, pour into pie shell and cool. Yields 1 pie.
