Caraway Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) cabbage, coarsely ground
    1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes (undrained)
    1 to 2 tsp. caraway seed
    2 bay leaves
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except cheese, in a Dutch oven. Bring to a boil.
    Cover; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.
    Transfer to a serving bowl.
    Remove bay leaves; sprinkle with cheese before serving.
    Yields 8 servings.
