Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. chopped raw apples, cored (do not peel)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    In a large bowl, cream shortening, 1 cup sugar and eggs. Blend in flour, baking soda and salt.
    Mix in milk and vanilla. Then add apples.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Mix together sugar and cinnamon.
    Sprinkle on batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 minutes.
