Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. apples, peeled and chopped
nuts and raisins (optional)
whipped topping
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy; add eggs and mix well.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture.
Fold in apples, mixing well.
Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
Cool.
Serve with whipped topping.
