Vanilla Crisps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
Preparation

Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
Add vanilla and salt. Add eggs, beating well.
Stir in flour; mix well.
Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
(Or chill dough; shape into 1-inch balls.)
Flatten with floured glass. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove immediately and cool on rack.
Makes 84.
