Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. onions
    1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. light cream
    1 or 2 frozen pie crusts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Boil onions (cut into rings) in salted water until done.
    Drain.
    Put 2 cups onions into pie crust.
    Beat eggs and cream.
    Put half of mixture over onions.
    Then cover with cheese.
    Repeat; onions, egg mixture and cheese.
    Top either with pie crust or buttered bread crumbs.
